Weekends
Full but never frantic: weekends mix trips and activities with lie-ins, brunch and time to recharge.
A Balance of Adventure and Rest
The weekend programme is planned by the boarding team with ideas from boarders themselves, through the boarders' council.
Saturday mornings may include school commitments such as matches, rehearsals or academic sessions for older pupils. From Saturday afternoon, the time belongs to the boarders: a trip, an activity in school, or simply time with friends in the house. Sundays begin with a later breakfast and brunch, followed by an outing or relaxed activities and a quiet evening of prep.
Weekly and flexi boarders go home at weekends. Full boarders are always welcome to spend a weekend with family or, with parental permission, with a friend.

Exeats and Holidays
Each term includes a half-term holiday and two exeat weekends, when all boarders go home or to their guardian. Dates are published on our term dates page well in advance, so families can plan travel.
For international boarders, the school can arrange escorted transport to and from airports at the start and end of each term and holiday.
